What Do You Meme? Now With GIFs is the updated, more “animated” version of the popular meme game for adults. It combines the classic gameplay with the ability to use GIFs.  It is the ideal choice for nights with friends, parties, or gatherings where you want to laugh non-stop.

A taste of the game!

Each round, one player becomes the “judge” and places a GIF or image (photo card) in front of them. The other players choose from their cards a caption card that they think is the funniest or most suitable for the specific image/GIF. The judge selects the pairing that entertained them the most, and the player who played it earns a point. The twist with the GIFs adds movement and expressiveness — often the reactions are more intense when the image “moves”.

Everything you need to know to play

  • Shuffle the photo/GIF cards and place the stack face down.
  • Assign one player as the judge for the first round.
  • The judge draws a photo/GIF card, everyone looks at the image, and places it on the easel.
  • The other players choose a caption card from their hand that they think best matches the image.
  • Everyone submits their selected cards to the judge, shuffled, so the judge doesn't know who played which card.
  • The judge picks the funniest or most fitting card and reveals who played it — that player wins the round and earns a point.
  • The role of judge passes to the next player and the process repeats.
  • The game ends when someone reaches a predetermined number of points or after a set number of rounds — the player with the most points wins.
