The Alchemist covers the ears more nicely, creates isolation from the environment, but as far as sound is concerned, the SA-902 is superior and louder, especially with the virtual 7.1 that you activate through software plus the xear surround max. I don't even recommend 7.1 for songs, it makes a small echo.
