The Wild Path WP-406 standalone wireless alarm system detects motion outdoors and sends an alert through a receiver with an audible notification and an LED zone indicator. The sensor and receiver communicate at 433 MHz, with a range of up to 800 m under ideal line-of-sight conditions. The sensor is powered by a built-in solar panel and a 1500 mAh battery, and can also be charged via micro-USB.

The sensor features PIR detection with two sensitivity levels, at 6 m and 9.1 m, and an IP66 protection rating. The receiver operates on 4 AA batteries or via micro-USB 5 V/1 A, has adjustable alert volume, and indicates when the sensor battery is low. The system supports up to 4 sensors in total.
