My review refers to the AMERICAN dealership, NOT the European one, because there is obviously a different level of reliability!

First of all, let me start by solving the problems of some people here who say that their machine broke down or that it doesn't work as it did at first...
This (most likely) is due to the fact that this particular machine, in order to work without problems, first of all its teeth (2 blades, one on top and one below) must be in a very specific position relative to each other and secondly the side screw must also be tightened to a very specific degree... I too had noticed that sometimes it didn't work as it did at first and thought it was broken, but this is obviously because over time these two loosen and move!

It's not a toy machine, nor should it be used by someone who doesn't know about professional machines because they will complain that it's not good!

Now let's go to my own experience!
The machine can even mow grass with the power it has! One flaw, of course, is that the box shows it can be used for the face!
THIS IS NOT TRUE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
And it's very heavy and its structure is such that it is not suitable for corners, details, etc!
You may need to buy extra accessories as I have done and as you can see in the photo if the ones provided do not meet your needs!

Also, this particular machine is the only one that does not give me that strange sensation of numbness-tickling that you get after shaving your armpits + it does its job instantly with 1-2 passes! A note here: when I first used it for this purpose I had some irritations and cuts, this was because I had never oiled its blades even once!

Finally, it needs to be cleaned inside from time to time, so be careful when you unscrew it to screw it back as before! (THIS WILL TAKE MANY ATTEMPTS THE FIRST TIME BECAUSE YOU WILL STRUGGLE TO PUT THE TEETH BACK AS THEY WERE INITIALLY until you learn to do it correctly)

P.S. It is unthinkable to use such a machine WITHOUT OIL! You will simply have problems... either with irritations or with the blades moving from the position you set them, especially if you haven't used the machine for a while! Oil it not only on the teeth but also inside on the metal parts when you open it to clean it!

It has also fallen once from a height but it is a WAR DOG!

I bought it at a Mall in Germany for around 55€ with high expectations, as I had the impression that Wahl is the best on the market for shavers. Unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed. I bought it mainly for beards and body... for the beard, of course, I imagined that it wouldn't be as good because of the large cutting surface, and indeed, although it cut well, it wasn't suitable for the face, especially for difficult areas, and it is quite heavy like a machine, so the difficulty increases even more... However, for the body, I expected it to work wonders and make things easier... Well, I was disappointed for a reason that I didn't expect at all... While the first 2-3 times everything went well... after the fourth time I tried it (it's true that the machine heated up very quickly), the motor lost almost half of its power... In other words, while at first it was quite powerful and cut close and fast... after a short period of use, it became weak... I hoped that it would be something temporary and that it would regain its power after resting a bit... but unfortunately, it never happened... And the most frustrating part is that the machine works when connected to the power outlet and not with a battery... so I really wonder why it doesn't regain its initial power... how can it deteriorate so quickly...??! What can I say, maybe it's what the friend below is saying, that European ones are different from American ones... of course, I don't know what mine is :)

P.S. For the record, after a while, I also bought a Wahl trimmer that I found in a well-known supermarket chain for 20€. I thought I wouldn't buy it (since it's cheap) just to get over the disappointment of the first Wahl. Of course, as a construction, it is much inferior, more plasticky (expected)... well, unfortunately, this one also had the same issue after 3-4 uses... the motor lost its power... and even though this one works with a power outlet... what can I say... I don't know if I'm just unlucky or if Wahl has gone downhill... but one thing I know is that both machines will end up in the trash.
