Durostick aquarium sealant is an acrylic polymer in mastic form, with anti-mould and adhesive properties. It is odourless, contains no solvents and remains elastic after application. It can be painted or left unpainted without losing its colour.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it is used for grouting, supporting and sealing plumbing and electrical components, as well as sealing marble, stone, cement and plasterboard. It can be applied to porous surfaces without a primer, provided that at least one of the surfaces is porous. For wide joints, a backing cord is recommended. It is resistant to radiation, moisture, acids and alkaline chemicals.
