This camera is useless for surveillance areas larger than 15m. And let me explain. Because of its solar charging, which really seems to cope satisfactorily, the camera should be preferred for outdoor spaces and away from the exterior walls of a main residence; otherwise, what is the point of solar charging if a 10mm hole in the exterior wall would be enough to power it with normal AC mains power? For me, in my case, since I need it for a distance of about 25m, with an excessive 150+ recordings and notifications per day, almost the majority of them false, it consumes at most 5% of the battery. Although everything that should have been done during installation was done, both in relation to the viewing angle and the height, still for distances between 15 ~ 20 m it does not detect a person, but at the same distance it does detect false movements even with the movement of trees and leaves and even their shadows. But unlike the many false alerts, for a distance of 20 ~ 25 m from it, even when a car enters or exits, unfortunately sometimes yes and sometimes no, it sees no movement at all. Also, the motion tracking features are completely useless because when it tracks any movement, in combination with the detection zones, these shift, and then with the imposed 30-second delay, with each subsequent movement recording and notifications are triggered outside the zones that were originally designed.
