The Ermenrich NetGeeks NP10 is a cable tester and PoE tester designed for testing network and telephone cables to support Ethernet power. It features functions for checking open and short circuits, as well as identifying the location of the power equipment: either midspan (in the middle of the cable line) or endspan (at the end of the cable line).
The device consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter has three ports: RJ45, RJ11, PoE, while the receiver has only one port for RJ45 and RJ11. Only the transmitter requires a 9V battery as a power source.
