I bought it for my mother and we are very satisfied. The taste of the water changed noticeably and we stopped buying bottled water. I think the biggest advantage is that it fits in the side door of the fridge, unlike other pitchers.
What I liked about this particular one was the width of the jug, as it fits in the side door of the fridge compared to other jugs I had in the past.
