Designed from the ground up for vlogging and vloggers, the new camera combines Sony’s advanced imaging technology with enhanced usability and a customized set of features optimized for video creators.
At its core, the ZV-E10 features a 24.2-megapixel APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor and a BIONZ X image processor, delivering high-quality images with high sensitivity, detailed texture rendering, and beautiful natural bokeh effect. In addition, the ZV-E10 includes popular vlogging-specific features, just like the popular ZV-1 digital camera, including the “Background Defocus” function that can smoothly switch between blurred (bokeh) and sharp backgrounds, as well as the “Product Showcase Setting” that allows the camera to automatically shift focus from the subject’s face to a highlighted object.
The ZV-E10 is designed with video shooting in mind, featuring a lightweight body (approximately 343g) and includes the popular Vari-angle LCD screen that opens to the side, allowing creators to attach external microphones above the camera. This simplifies setup, while also allowing users to view the screen in selfie shooting mode, as well as from high and low angles.
In addition to the screen, the ZV-E10 includes many other user-friendly features designed specifically for vlogging, including a new Still/Movie/Slow and Quick motion button located on the top of the camera, allowing creators to easily switch between their desired shooting modes with a single touch.
The new camera also features advanced video functions, such as 4K video recording and high-quality Slow Motion (FHD 120p). Electronic image stabilization with Active Mode is also available, providing stable video recording even when walking and shooting handheld. Furthermore, the ZV-E10’s advanced autofocus technology delivers fast, accurate AF with excellent tracking performance, as well as high-quality audio for clear sound recording.
