It has often been theorized and written that communism will prosper after the destruction of the capitalist mode of production, which will be undermined by such contradictions that its end will be inevitable.

However, numerous events of this century have unfortunately brought other possibilities to the forefront: the return to "barbarism," the destruction of the human species, ultimately a state of stalemate in which the capitalist mode of production survives by adapting itself to a degenerated humanity that lacks the strength to destroy it.
