Before installing any safety valve, qualified technical personnel responsible for the system must perform the correct sizing according to local regulations. R140C series safety valves should be installed vertically to prevent deposits of impurities in the system and in the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the valve body. Safety valves should also be installed in the cooler part of the system (corresponding to the solar collector supply), in a visible and easily accessible location for inspection. The connecting pipe of the valve should not exceed 1 meter in length, should contain no restrictions, and have a diameter at least equal to the connection inlet. The valve discharge must be visible and should be routed through a pipe with a diameter at least equal to the connection outlet.
