Nolan Callahan plans to spend this holiday season just like every other; haunting the terrible people of Annapolis in his aimless existence as the Ghost of Christmas Past.

Harriet York is a good person – or, at least, she tries to be. A people pleaser at her core, she always does what’s expected of her.

So, when Nolan is assigned the owner of a charming antique shop, sweeter than candy canes, for his holiday haunting, neither of them has any idea why. To escape each other, Harriet and Nolan must unravel the threads that connect them – all by Christmas Eve.

Hand in hand, they uncover each other’s pasts, but why is it that Nolan doesn’t want to let go? And could Harriet be the key to giving the Ghost of Christmas Past… a future?

  • A grumpy sailor ghost, or perhaps I should better say a Christmas spirit with an Irish accent, who has a new "job" to do in order to move on in eternity: to haunt a girl who loves Christmas and is full of positive energy. I don't care that the holidays are over, this book was so sweet and atmospheric for a romance that I will be thinking about it for a long time! It was predictable at the end, but still a fun little read with deep emotional connections and character development. I would say it is a retelling of Christmas Carol with a wonderful romance inside, and (unexpectedly) spicy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a romance with a bit of Christmas magic ️
