This expansion adds 10 epic and dark quests, pushing your Heroes deep underground in search of a powerful artifact before it falls into the hands of the followers of Zargon. It is an essential addition for every HeroQuest collector, offering unlimited replayability and intense, strategic battles against the forces of Evil.

A taste of the game!

The adventure begins when the followers of Zargon threaten your homeland. Armed with ancient maps, the Heroes embark on a dangerous journey to the Crypt of the Dead Knight Kedrick Gilbane, a legendary place rumored to hide a powerful artifact. Through 10 dark and suspenseful quests, players will face fearsome enemies, such as the mighty Metal Black Dragon, encounter unlikely allies, and must use all their strategy to prevent Zargon from obtaining this priceless treasure.

    Everything you need to know to play:

    The expansion The Crypt of Perpetual Darkness integrates into the core HeroQuest game system.

    • One player takes on the role of the Evil Wizard (Zargon), who controls the monsters and reveals the secrets of the dungeon. The other players take on the role of the Heroes.

    • Missions: The Heroes read the mission introduction from the Mission Book and begin their adventure, which is played in sequence (from 1 to 10).

    • New Elements: The expansion introduces new cards (Artifacts, Equipment, Treasure, etc.) with foil coating and new markers/tiles for the map (such as Viny Traps or the Crypt / Tavern tile).

    • New Enemy: The expansion includes the threat of the Metal Black Dragon as a unique miniature, which may appear as a final opponent or a powerful enemy.

    • Cooperation: Victory depends on the cooperation of the Heroes to complete the mission and survive.
