The Ozdenta night guard is intended for use in cases of teeth grinding and clenching, bruxism, temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), and headaches associated with these symptoms. The package contains two mint-flavored guards.
Before first use, shape the guard by immersing it in boiling water for approximately 15–20 seconds, without leaving it in the water while it is boiling. After allowing it to cool for a few seconds, place it over the upper teeth and press it to fit the teeth, without chewing it. The shaping process takes 1 minute; then place the guard in cold water for 2 minutes. If it does not fit properly, repeat the steps. Clean it thoroughly after each use and replace it when worn.
