To prepare the herbal tea, place the sage in a cup, pour boiling water over it and leave it covered for 5–10 minutes. Then strain and serve hot or cold. Honey or lemon may be added. A larger quantity can be kept in the refrigerator for 2–3 days. Consumption is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women or children. Consult a doctor before consuming herbs.
