I had in my possession for about 10 months a footrest that was clearly cheaper than this one but not by much, which cracked in the middle with very simple, careful use.
This one is indeed noticeably better quality, with a stronger base (the formation that offers a "massage" sensation is interesting) and the sides are much more sturdy. So far it does the job it should, with every reservation about durability to be seen after 10-12 months. It is not heavy, easy to assemble, the steps at first require a bit of time to figure out which one suits you.
