Case Design and Structure

The Citizen Series 8 880 GMT combines sporty aesthetics with the functionality needed for travel and everyday wear. 

The stainless steel case measures 41 mm in diameter and stands out for its combination of matte and polished surfaces, as well as its bi-directional rotating bezel. 

The dial is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, offering a clear view of the textured dial, while the hands and selected details feature luminous coating. 

The transparent case back (open case back) allows you to view the movement, while the integrated H-link bracelet fastens with a fold-over safety clasp.

Automatic GMT Movement and Anti-Magnetic Protection

Inside is the automatic mechanical Calibre 9054 movement with 24 jewels, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, with an accuracy of -10/+20 seconds per day and a 50-hour power reserve. 

The GMT function allows you to track a second time zone simultaneously using the independently adjustable hour hand, while also offering a date display window at 3 o’clock. 

The movement features enhanced antimagnetic protection of up to 16,000 A/m to maintain stability in the presence of electromagnetic fields, as well as water resistance to 10 bar (100 metres).
