An extremely detailed book, it covers the entire range of information ever expressed about Alexander. The author, with respect to the ancient texts, expresses his opinion with discretion and prudence! I have read all the bibliography on Alexander and I would unreservedly recommend you read this particular book! It is indeed lengthy, but it keeps your interest throughout your reading!

Nice book but it loses its side somewhere. Also, while it has a chronological order and we are in the events in India, it takes you back to a period of the Persian campaign, as if it got a little confused at the end.

It's not bad, but the style is like watching a show hosted by Plevari on Teleasti. Because I come from a book that referred to the Peloponnesian War by a foreign author, I felt like I lowered the level, unfortunately.

The life and great work of the great strategist, the magnificent King, the Greek world conqueror. Excellent, well-written, and mainly based on ancient sources. A jewel of every library.

I am not able to assess the accuracy of what is mentioned in the book, but the only sure thing is that whoever wants to learn to speak Greek correctly, must read this book.
Easy to read, adventurous and full of values and ideals.
If I wanted something different, that would be for it to be published in 2 volumes to make it easier to carry and read.
