Description & Specifications

The Celestron Nature DX ED binoculars offer 10x magnification and ED objective lenses for observing sporting events, nature, and birds. Extra-low dispersion glass almost completely eliminates chromatic aberration and produces sharp images with realistic colors, even in low-light conditions. The minimum focusing distance is 2.5 m.

The optical elements are fully multi-coated, while the prisms are made of BaK-4 glass and have phase coatings. The polycarbonate housing has a rubber coating to protect against wear and tear. The twist-up eyecups make viewing easier for eyeglass wearers, while the binoculars are waterproof and nitrogen-purged to prevent the lenses from fogging up. They can be mounted on a photographic tripod for extended viewing or photography through the eyepiece with a suitable adapter.
