The Garrett Multi-Flex Ripper DD 5″ x 8″ search coil is designed for Garrett ACE Apex metal detectors and uses Multi-Flex multi-frequency technology. Its compact size and narrow detection field make it easier to search among roots and rocks, in areas with trash or iron, and near larger metal objects.

The coil is sensitive and suitable for detecting jewelry, small coils, and gold nuggets. It is fully waterproof and can be submerged for searches along shorelines, in shallow streams and rivers, and in swimming areas. It is not compatible with older ACE detectors.
