The initial pairing with each device is quite easy, as long as the already connected device is not present.
A strange thing it does is that it connects via both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi at the same time, so it automatically turns on your phone's Wi-Fi.
In the case where both devices are in the car and you want to change which device is connected, you have to play a bit of cat and mouse to turn off both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on the connected device at the same time, because if one is on, the other gets activated too.
In the 5 months I've had it on a 2018 Vitara, I've encountered very few connection and delay issues, which I attribute to the demons of technology, not this particular product.
