Description

If the star, which lost its balance and fell into the jungle, did not return quickly to the sky, it would lose its shine forever. Thus, the animals tried in a thousand ways to bring it back! It was in vain! However, what the strength of the lion, the height of the giraffe, and the agility of the monkey could not achieve, a tiny little ant accomplished, proving to the capable and strong that teamwork makes the impossible possible and humble ants… superheroes! There are things and situations that we can easily face alone, but "miracles" are made by groups, by friends, by collaborations. Feelings: SELF-CONFIDENCE * COLLABORATION * DIVERSITY. In order to ensure that children have a healthy social life based on effective relationships, they must cultivate empathy, the ability to put themselves in others' shoes, to understand and feel things in the same way another person experiences them. This need is met by the illustrated books in this series, which promote emotional intelligence. With the proposed approach for parents and educators, they aim to introduce children to see the world through the eyes of others, after first learning to recognize and manage their own emotions. The series "Books that Promote Emotional Intelligence" consists of 22 books.

Theme: Family, Love, Communication, Emotions

Style: Tender and moving

Age: 3–6 years old

Suitable for:

Ideal for parents who want to talk to their children about love in the family and strengthen their bond. A beautiful story to read together in a hug.

Why This Book Is Special:

  • Approaches the concept of love in a sensitive way as perceived by a small child.
  • Provides an opportunity for discussion about emotions and communication in the family.
  • The simple, tender language makes it easily understandable for young ages.
  • Enhances the sense of security and the value of family warmth.
  • With the book you can:

  • Discuss: How do we show our love for each other in the family? What does love mean to you? How do you feel when we are all together?
  • Ask the child: How high do you think our love reaches? How would you make a ladder to reach love?
  • Play/Create/Imitate: Make your own "ladder of love" with pillows or boxes. Draw the family members and create a big heart around them. Play a game of hugs and kisses!

I would give it 4.5 if I could but that's not possible.
Nice concept and correct message, it just doesn't keep the child's (3.5 years old) interest at an ideal level as storytelling, so they choose it only a few times to read again.

From 2 years old I would say. It is fully understandable and beautiful. My daughter chooses it every night among many! (The other animals could apologize for doubting the little ant but I say it myself!!)

Simply perfect! We have been reading it since 20 months and now at 23 months almost every night! Very nice pictures and verses with meanings and cleverness! Quite a few pages! The image gives you the opportunity to add more words and involve the child, for example, how the lion laughs, how the monkey laughs, how the monkey goes from branch to branch, to make the movement and many more! Wonderful, I wish all fairy tales were like this. The child learns a lot! I wonder if there are more of the same category from the suggested ones on the back cover..

At first, it didn't make much of an impression on my little one (20 months old) as it is intended for older children who can understand the concept of cooperation. However, after a few times, we definitely read it every night now (since everything unfolds at night and the mornings go back to sleep again)

    • I would give it 4.5 if I could but that's not possible.
Nice concept and correct message, it just doesn't keep the child's (3.5 years old) interest at an ideal level as storytelling, so they choose it only a few times to read again.

    • From 2 years old I would say. It is fully understandable and beautiful. My daughter chooses it every night among many! (The other animals could apologize for doubting the little ant but I say it myself!!)

    • Wonderful book that talks about perseverance, love, and teamwork. Our 3-year-old son has loved it and has been asking for it constantly for the past 5-6 months that we've had it

    • Very nice meaning... I would like it somehow to say towards the end that the other animals apologized, but it's okay
