The Citroen replacement key is a 2-button cover for replacing a broken or worn-out casing. It does not include electronic components, a battery, or a chip, so the internal components from the old key can be transferred to the new cover without reprogramming.
Installation requires no tools: remove the old casing, transfer the circuit board, chip, and battery, then snap the two parts of the new cover together. Before purchasing, confirm that the key’s shape and dimensions are compatible.
