Maintaining high student interest in physical education is an indicator of successful teaching. In the Greek literature, the theoretical framework and practical guidelines for increasing student interest are described in the book "For a Better Teaching of Physical Education" (Papaioannou, Theodorakis & Goudas, 1999) as well as in other teaching books published in recent years (e.g., Mosston & Ashworth, 1997).
