The Sigma 200mm f/2 DG OS is a prime telephoto lens for cameras with a full-frame sensor and a Leica L mount. Its maximum aperture of f/2 and rounded 11-blade iris create a shallow depth of field and smooth bokeh, while the 200 mm focal length provides optical compression for portraits, landscapes and sports photography indoors or at close range.
Low-dispersion glass elements reduce chromatic aberrations, while nanoporos and super multi-layer coatings help maintain contrast and colour accuracy. The HLA autofocus system supports fast focusing and tracking of moving subjects, while OS optical stabilisation with the OS2 algorithm compensates for camera shake by up to 6.5 stops.
Seals protect against dust and splashes, while the front element coating repels water and oil. The lens features a de-clickable aperture ring, a rotating tripod collar with locking stops every 90°, and a removable TS-171 tripod foot compatible with Arca-type clamps.
