Caution!

During the first 8 weeks of life, the baby has thermal immaturity and cannot regulate the basic body temperature without extra effort, making it more sensitive to temperature changes, whether cold or hot. The ideal temperature in the baby's room is between 19 and 22 degrees Celsius. Overheating the baby with inappropriate clothing for the ambient temperature increases the risk of sudden infant death syndrome.
