Description

Description

The Magnetar UDP900 MKII is a top-tier flagship universal 4K UHD Blu-ray player, designed without compromise for high-end audio and video enthusiasts. With its 15.5 kg shielded construction, dual power supply system, and premium ESS Sabre DACs, it delivers unparalleled playback quality from physical media and digital files.

Dual Power Supply System

The UDP900 MKII features two independent power supplies to fully isolate the circuits. A custom toroidal transformer powers the analog audio circuits exclusively, while a high-efficiency switching power supply handles the digital sections and the disc-reading mechanism, eliminating electrical interference.

Premium Audio Stage with ESS Sabre DACs

For reference-quality sound, dedicated high-end chips from ESS Technology are used. An ESS Sabre ES9038PRO drives the dedicated two-channel output (XLR Balanced / RCA), while an ESS Sabre ES9028PRO handles the 7.1 Multi-Channel analog outputs, delivering a signal-to-noise ratio of over 130dB.

Pure Cinema 4K Image Processing

The quad-core MediaTek MT8581 processor delivers premium 4K upscaling and supports advanced standards Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR10. It ensures exceptional color gradation across the wide BT.2020 color gamut, with deep blacks and high brightness for the ultimate cinematic experience.

Universal Media and File Playback

It functions as a universal player, playing 4K UHD Blu-ray, SACD (DSD), DVD-Audio, CD and Blu-ray 3D. In addition, via the Gigabit Ethernet port (DLNA/SMB) or the USB 3.0 ports, it supports playback of high-resolution files such as DSD256, FLAC, WAV and MKV.
