Evaluation of total PSI score and individual scores of scaling and roughness at 14 and 30 days (phase 1): PSI: n=30, mean (D0) = 7.50±1.22, mean (D14) = 6.10±1.75 (p<0.001), significant difference versus placebo, Scaling n=30, mean (D0) = 2.57±0.61, mean (D14): 1.87±0.90 (p<0.001), significant difference versus placebo. Redness n=30, mean (D0) = 2.60±0.50, mean (D30): 2.00±0.79 (p <0.001), significant difference versus placebo. Tolerance results: 42.4% of patients experienced a total of 24 mild to moderate adverse events, of which 13 were possibly related to the study products: 9 related to XERIAL DM PSORIASIS and 4 related to PLACEBO. These adverse events were: stinging (9%), itching (15%) and burning sensation (3%). All related adverse events were local and resolved before study completion.

DAILY USE FOR 30 DAYS Apply twice a day in a thick layer on clean and dry face and body, on affected areas, on movable areas, on joints. Apply directly to psoriasis lesions. It can be used alternately with dermocorticosteroids. Do not use for more than 30 days.

ADVICE FROM THE LABORATORY AND THE DERMATOLOGIST

During the shower:

• Prefer taking a shower rather than a bath, avoiding very hot water (<36°C).

• Do not stay in the shower or bath for too long (do not exceed 20 minutes).

• Prefer cleansing products without soaps such as Huile Lavante Topialyse (with fragrance) or Baume Lavant Topialyse (fragrance-free). ‍ After the shower:

• Pat your skin dry with a soft towel

• On psoriatic lesions, on clean and dry skin: apply Psoriasis Xerial DM

• On the rest of the body, on skin without lesions: use your usual moisturizing cosmetic cream. Xerial 10 Lait moisturizes and smooths the skin.

Although psoriasis causes itching, it is important to try not to remove psoriatic lesions. Scratching for 5 minutes can activate psoriasis for 3 weeks4. Stress is one of the factors that may promote the appearance of psoriatic lesions. However, it is not the direct cause itself. Therefore, it is important to avoid stressful situations, and when you feel overwhelmed by stress, have solutions to calm down, such as meditation, relaxation.
