Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from foreign substances, and smoothed with suitable sandpaper. Chalk Paint is applied directly onto the surface in 1 or 2 coats depending on the desired result.

It can be applied with a brush, roller, or spray gun, with or without dilution with water. Dries to the touch in about 30 minutes and can be recoated after 6 hours. Recoating requires the appropriate time to achieve the desired quality of finish.

When applying for a two-tone effect, two coats of different colors can be applied. Once the surface is thoroughly dry, gently sand locally with sandpaper the final coat to reveal the previous shade, offering a striking vintage or shabby chic look.
