The multi-platform compatible ScanSnap iX100 brings the power and ease of the ScanSnap model series in a compact and completely wireless form. Weighing just 400g, the ScanSnap iX100 features a rechargeable lithium battery capable of up to 260 A4 scans on a single full charge.

With the ability to scan via a wireless network to computers or mobile devices running the ScanSnap Connect app, the ScanSnap offers true 'scan anytime, anywhere' capability. The ScanSnap iX100 can automatically detect Wi-Fi networks at home, in the office, or on the go, requiring setup only once, and then any frequently visited network will be detected automatically. Alternatively, with the Direct Connect function, wireless scanning is possible outside of network infrastructure.

Various types of everyday documents can be processed at a speed of 5 seconds per A4 page, whether it’s business cards or receipts. The dual scan capability allows for the simultaneous scanning of small documents, photos, thicker items like postcards, bills, and everyday A4 or even A3 documents.

The ScanSnap iX100 features paper path options, with a straight paper path for scanning everyday documents and thick materials, while the U-turn path facilitates the scanning process when space is limited or when the Continuous Document Feeding function is enabled. This function allows for the insertion of pages one after another by detecting when a page enters and exits.

Once scanning is complete, press the Scan button to save the file. The ScanSnap Receipt application allows you to easily scan and export information from your receipts, supporting various languages and currencies. With ScanSnap Sync integrated into the ScanSnap Organizer software and the ScanSnap Connect app, documents are automatically synced with all your devices via Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive.

The iX100 supports wireless scanning to iPad, iPhone, Android, and Kindle devices for easier viewing through the ScanSnap Connect app. This feature requires the Wi-Fi of the computer on which the ScanSnap is installed to be enabled.

You can scan to services like Evernote, Dropbox, Google Drive, Salesforce, or Sugarsync, viewing and sharing your documents anywhere and anytime. With ScanSnap Cloud, scanned documents are automatically recognized and routed directly to your preferred cloud account. The ABBYY FineReader OCR (optical character recognition) software for ScanSnap allows you to scan handwritten documents directly into editable Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint formats.
