Don Quixote, one of those stories that never grow old, began to take shape in the mind of Miguel de Cervantes four centuries ago to parody the romantic chivalric novels that monopolized interest since the Middle Ages.

The fact that it has become a foundation as well as a cornerstone of Western literature should therefore discourage any attempt to render it in condensed frames and illustrated pages. Yet, brothers Paul and Gaétan Brizzi accept the challenge once again and succeed brilliantly: they reconstruct, with words, images, and full awareness, the torrential story and the "eternal" character of Don Quixote.

A fearless knight yet so tragically naïve, arrogant and at the same time lovable, farcically absurd and hopelessly consistent to the end, idealistic and definitely immortal.
