Niki, Vanessa, Stella, Lena, Maria, Sandra, Anna, Christina, Rita: the heroines of these eight stories. It could be me or you, or all the girls striving on the playing field of life, trying to find our way, grow up, create, develop our personalities and define our identities, leaving our own mark on the world.
Abusive partners, teachers who cross the line, cowardly, indifferent, manipulative or controlling parents, classmates who threaten and blackmail. And on the other hand, boys who know how to respect and support others regardless of gender, as well as strong girls who discover who they are and send a message of empowerment and mutual support.
