The replacement key shell for Audi Allroad, B9, Q5, Q7, TT and TTS has 3 buttons and is intended to replace a broken or worn remote control cover. It does not include electronic components, a battery or a chip, so the components from the old key must be transferred to it. No reprogramming is required for installation.
To replace it, remove the old shell, transfer the circuit board, chip and battery to the new shell, and snap the two parts together. Then check that the buttons work.
