The case does what it's supposed to do, it snaps onto the quadlock base. It's sturdy and of good quality.
I had a case for the 13 pro and the previous one I had made a bump on the back where the clasp was, at first a bit weird but you got used to it, it wasn't a big deal and in the end I think it was better.
On this one for the 17, it's solid, the back is uniformly flat, and to achieve this they obviously just made the case thicker. Personally, it seems bulkier to me this way, but that's a matter of taste.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING HOWEVER is that the case peeled off my screen protector!!! I put the case on for the first time and after a while I saw a huge bubble on the screen protector!!! I ended up removing it because I didn't like the privacy feature and put on a film at a store. It was KIND OF saved because it's more flexible and thinner, so if the case pushes it, the whole film doesn't lift, but still sometimes it presses one corner and makes a small bubble. I try to avoid it whenever I put on the case by lifting/pulling the edge of the case so it sits on top of the film instead of pushing it, sometimes it works well.
To be fair, it's understandable that the case hugs the bezel more for safety/security and also the 17/17 pro itself now has very thin bezels and there's little margin. But it's the first time I've seen this happen.
Η θήκη κάνει αυτό που πρέπει να κάνει, κουμπώνει πάνω στη βάση της quadlock. Είναι στιβαρή και ποιοτικά καλή.
Είχα θήκη για το 13 pro και στην προηγούμενη που είχα έκανε ένα εξόγκωμα στην πλάτη εκεί που ήταν για το κούμπωμα μόνο, στην αρχή λίγο περίεργο αλλά το συνήθιζες δεν ήταν κάτι και εν τέλει νομίζω καλύτερο.
Σε αυτήν εδώ για το 17 είναι μασίφ, ενιαία φλατ η πλάτη, και για να το κάνουν αυτό προφανώς απλά έκανα πιο χοντρή τη θήκη. Εμένα προσωπικά μου φαίνεται πιο χοντροκομμένη έτσι, αλλά είναι θέμα γούστου.
ΤΟ ΠΙΟ ΣΗΜΑΝΤΙΚΌ ΌΜΩΣ είναι ότι η θήκη μου ξεκόλλησε το τζαμάκι!!! Βάζω πρώτη φορά τη θήκη και μετά από λίγο βλέπω το τζαμάκι να έχει μια τεράστια φουσκάλα!!! Το έβγαλα στην τελική γιατί δεν μου άρεσε το privacy και έβαλα μεμβράνη σε μαγαζί. ΚΑΠΩΣ σώθηκε γιατί είναι πιο ελαστική και λεπτή οπότε αν το σπρώχνει η θήκη δεν σηκώνεται ολόκληρη η μεμβράνη, αλλά και πάλι κάποιες φορές τη μία γωνία την πιέζει και κάνει μια μικρή φουσκάλα. Προσπαθώ να το αποφύγω όποτε βάζω τη θήκη και ανασηκώνω/τραβάω το χείλος της θήκης ώστε να κάτσει πάνω στη μεμβράνη αντί να σπρώνει, κάποιες φορές δουλεύει καλά.
Να λέμε την αλήθεια, είναι κατανοητό ότι η θήκη αγκαλιάζει πιο πολύ το bezel για ασφάλεια/σιγουριά και επίσης το ίδιο το 17/17 pro έχει πλέον πολύ λεπτά bezels και είναι μικρά τα περιθώρια. Αλλά πρώτη φορά το βλέπω αυτό.
Overall a good case with the quality of quad lock! The downside is that while quad lock products are improving, I also see new quirks. Compared to the equivalent for the 16, it is flatter without a protrusion at the clasp and the phone sits much better on a flat surface. However, the camera button, while improving usability, has become so sensitive to clicks that almost every time I pick up the phone I activate the camera and sometimes the shutter; all this is affected by the fact that the case is a bit slippery and out of fear of dropping the phone I grip it a bit tighter, maybe. Besides that, it is not compatible with all screen protectors and you will need to get theirs. Personally, I would give it 3.5 out of 5!
Γενικά καλή θήκη με την ποιότητα της quad lock!
Το κακό είναι ότι ναι μεν τα προϊόντα της quad lock βελτιώνονται αλλά βλέπω και καινούργια κουσούρια.
Συγκριτικά με την αντίστοιχη για 16 είναι πιο επίπεδη χωρίς προεξοχή στο κούμπωμα και το κινητό κάθεται πολύ καλύτερα σε επίπεδη επιφάνεια. Το κουμπί όμως της κάμερας ενώ βελτιώνει τη χρήση έχει γίνει τόσο ευαίσθητο στο κλικ που σχεδόν κάθε φορά που πιάνω το την ενεργοποιώ την κάμερα και κάποιες φορές το κλείστρο, όλα αυτά επηρεάζονται από το ότι η θήκη γλιστράει λίγο και υπό τον φόβο μην μου πέσει το κινητό το σφίγγω λίγο παραπάνω ίσως. Εκτός αυτού δεν είναι συμβατή με όλα τζαμάκια προστασίας οθόνης και θα χρειαστεί να πάρετε το δικό τους. Προσωπικά θα έδινα 3,5 στα 5!
