The Cudy is a router, a device to which other devices (e.g. computer, mobile phone, television) connect either wirelessly or with a cable, and to which it distributes internet access. For internet access, it needs to be connected to a modem. The device has the capability to configure a VPN (Virtual Private Network) so that the traffic from all devices on our network passes through it. The VPN acts as an intermediary between us and the rest of the internet, allowing us to appear as if we are located in another country, and the websites we visit see the VPN address as the visitor instead of our own. This provides us with anonymity and access to content with geographical restrictions. VPN services are usually paid by subscription.
With MAC address filtering, it allows specific devices to connect based on their unique MAC address, blocking any device with a MAC address that has not been set as accepted.
