I bought it in the Fly More Motion version mainly because I wanted FPV and then the camera. It excels in both, even without considering its price (which is simply the best available). The FPV is excellent, everything connects and works flawlessly, the Motion controller just takes a little getting used to, but within 2 minutes you'll be flying it without even thinking about it. The camera may not be top-tier, but for 99% of users (myself included) it is simply excellent. Also, the upgrades of the Neo2 compared to the first Neo are extremely important, as safety, capabilities, and the overall feel are now similar to the Mini and not the Tello.

The only serious drawback I can mention is the small battery capacity—and therefore flight duration. Theoretically, it claims 19 minutes, but in practice, each one doesn't even give me 15 minutes, or even less if I use it with the goggles and do 2-3 acrobatics (which is the reason I bought it).

The feature I want to highlight is Head Tracking, which practically transfers—partially—the control of the drone to the goggles, providing an even greater sense of freedom during flight.

Obviously, you definitely need a carrying case, otherwise it can't be transported, but even with 70-80€ there are plenty of options.

In general, the Neo2 is neither a Mini or Air, nor an Avata, but it is definitely the optimal combination of both, meaning a camera drone that can also work FPV. Neither is the camera top-tier, nor does it have the capabilities and speed of a true FPV, but for someone who wants both, it is an excellent choice.

I have had the drone for a few months now and I can say that it is wonderful. I don't use it for big shots or very high flights, I mainly wanted it for follow me shots and videos for social media, and it does this perfectly.
I have the drone only version, without a controller and extra batteries, and it is more than enough for me.
When I first saw the Neo 1 I was impressed, but I found it a bit weak. However, the Neo 2 solves all these issues and was definitely worth the wait. The only minor downside is the battery life, but this is easily solved if you get one or two extras depending on your needs.
The Neo 2 is small, compact, fast, and super easy to use, even without using your phone. If you want, you can of course control it with your phone. If you want more features, it's worth getting the Controller RC-N3, which unlocks more camera settings, such as ISO and others.
I recommend it without a second thought, for its price, you don't need to look for more expensive drones. I also suggest getting DJI Care Refresh for 1 year at €16 to be covered in case of an accident.
No drone is perfect though, it needs care and good handling to last as long as possible. Do not fly it in strong wind, rain, or in areas with many trees and branches.

Having now logged quite a few flight hours with the DJI Neo 2 Fly More Combo, I can say with absolute honesty that this drone has impressed me — and not just a little! It’s not just another hobby drone; it’s a small technological marvel that introduces you to the world of drones with confidence, safety, and professional results from the very first flight.

What makes it stand out:
This drone combines very good image quality, smart flight features, and ease of use — all together in a compact, portable package. The camera is 12 MP with a 1/2″ sensor and shoots 4K video up to 60 fps, while it also supports slow-motion 4K/100 fps, as well as 2.7K vertical video ideal for social media.

The shots it produces are clear, with vibrant colors and realistic representation, and the image stabilization works excellently for its class. So many users note that the videos you shoot with this drone are much better than expected for the device’s size and price.

Safety & smart features:
One of the things that impressed me the most is the modern obstacle avoidance sensor system. The Neo 2 features omnidirectional obstacle sensing using vision sensors, LiDAR, and infrared sensors, so it detects and avoids obstacles at the front and sides during flight and object tracking — offering a real sense of safety even for beginner pilots. This is also confirmed by user tests, which report that the system works well in real-world conditions, although, like any system, it’s not infallible — in very dense environments you always need to stay alert.

Handling and user experience:
The Neo 2 is fantastic for beginners but also for more advanced users. It can take off and land from your palm, features ActiveTrack for object tracking, Gesture Control for hands-free flights, and Return-to-Palm capability. Many users in the field note that these modes make flying truly fun and safe, even if you’ve never flown a drone before.

Fly More Combo real value:
The combo package with 3 batteries, charging hub, and essential accessories gives you enough autonomy for longer flights and many tests in a day — something everyone who flies often considers a big plus in the user experience.

Minor notes:
No drone is perfect; in very challenging conditions with many obstacles, the avoidance system can sometimes misinterpret the environment, so always fly with caution. Also, flight time is more around 15-19 minutes per battery, but with the 3 batteries in the combo, this is entirely manageable.

Summary — My opinion
I say this without exaggeration: the DJI Neo 2 Fly More Combo is one of the most complete drones in its class. It combines quality imaging, a smart and safe flight system, stability, and features that make your life easier — whether you’re a beginner or already experienced. It’s one of those drones that make you want to fly again and again, for shots, for trips, for dynamic footage, or just for fun.
If you want a drone that excites you from the very first flight and gives you results that will turn heads, then this one is very likely to steal the show.

Before I start the review, it is good to know the reason why we buy each drone model so that we have the corresponding expectations. I believe that the neo 2 is mainly aimed at those who want to have a small drone with them that they can fly easily and quickly anywhere and capture walks, family moments, vlogging, and the like, without necessarily carrying a controller with them. The neo 2 is a very big upgrade compared to the first one that was released and, in fact, at a price that, for what it offers, is excellent! The automated functions have greater variety and the tracking works excellently. It has 360 obstacle avoidance which so far has not disappointed me, a feature usually found in expensive drone series. The sensor is clearly better both in video and photos. The autonomy is slightly better (actual flight time close to 14-15 minutes in non-demanding conditions). It seems even sturdier compared to its predecessor, which, due to its low weight, is really hard to damage—only cosmetic wear is possible. It truly is a little powerhouse that is worth its money and will give the owner many beautiful shots effortlessly. Attention: If you buy the drone-only package, the transceiver is not included, which is necessary for flying with a controller.
