The Wreck for PS5 follows Junon, a failed screenwriter who is called to the emergency room when her estranged mother is found in critical condition. The story’s outcome depends on her choices: her memories reveal the past, while understanding her trauma unlocks new dialogue options and gives her the chance to improve her relationships. Her goal is to confront what has brought her to a dead end and find peace, humour and hope.
The narrative focuses on the characters’ psychology and intimacy, with dialogue performed by French actors. The game is set in modern-day France and features 10 memories, each offering a different way to explore, as well as an artistic style that evolves alongside the protagonist.
