The characters evolve, learn more about their powers, and build bonds with each other, offering us moments full of chemistry and delightful dialogues.

The spice continues to be good and I tip my hat to it. The couple is on fire, with their bond developing and reaching extreme points that will leave you speechless.

All of the above are great, but my favorite part is something else (and no! I don’t mean Carrion). Of course, I’m talking about the strategy and alliances, ingredients for a perfect recipe in fantasy books that here come to add something extra and elevate the plot.

A major twist is coming at the end and a huge cliffhanger that will make you scream.

Ok this was.... amazing! This book reminds me why and how much I love romantasy and stories with magical powers, dragons, assassins, alchemists and realms of power and secrets.

Wow just wow! Callie you overdid your self! This was everything I wanted to see after Quicksilver and more! Besides some typos, that I understand the hurry and the market's fast pace in publishing, this was a masterpiece. And this book was so detailed created the space for the story to expand. Reminding of Game of Thrones with the many realms, amazing characters with development, complex relationships, secrets and prophecies to be unfold.

So this was incredibly entertaining and deep for a fantasy book. A perfect continuation to the story, with character development, a fast paced and engaging plot, so many plot twists and secrets , more curses and prophecies and of course delicious spice with our mates ??

Sometimes you read a perfect first book (especially in fantasy series) and the second book is info dumping or very slow. This wasn't the case with Brimstone. This book was perfection and the story was so full of events I was sittingt and reading day and night. This set up the floor for an amazing fantasy series I cant wait for the next book! And I totally plan on re reading it on audiobook!

I cant even tell how much I appreciate the author's efforts to release such a great book per year and keeping up with all of us readers expectations and more ️
