Description

The mysterious island of Emberheart is home to the last dragons, who lived peacefully with the villagers until poachers from the Far Lands invaded to plunder. 

As the King's Champion, your mission is to cooperate with the villagers, protect the dragons, and stand against the evil invaders. Emberheart is a fast-paced worker placement game of medium complexity, full of strategic choices and exciting decisions.

How to play

In each round, you can take an Assistant symbol for a unique bonus or send a group of mercenaries to one of the island's locations. The number of mercenaries you send affects both your choice and your opponents' chances of surpassing you. You have various mercenaries – Grunts are versatile but single-use, while Scouts, Rangers, and Wardens are permanent but limited to specific locations. Your Dragon Companion accompanies the groups, offering bonuses depending on its training.

Strategy & Victory

The rewards of the locations allow you to recruit heroes, rescue dragons, transport them to the Sanctuaries, and launch counterattacks against the poachers.

Beware of the Flame: bad actions or poacher raids increase the Flame Index, which will punish you at the end. At the end of five rounds, the Champion with the most Glory wins and is declared the Ambassador of the Dragons!
