How to choose the right size

Don’t measure just the seat! To properly cover the sofa including the armrests, calculate the “route” the fabric will take:

• Length (Side to side): Measure from the point where you want the throw to start on one side, go over the first armrest, across the seat, and down over the other armrest.
  • Tip: Add +20cm so you can tuck it into the joints to keep it from moving.
• Width (Back to front): Measure from the back of the sofa, over the cushion, down to the feet of the sofa.

Microfiber

Microfiber consists of very fine synthetic fibers (finer than silk). Its texture can resemble anything from soft cotton to suede/velvet. It is the ideal solution for everyday, "heavy" use.

Jacquard

In jacquard fabric, the pattern is not printed but created by weaving together threads of different colors, so if you touch it, you will feel the motif to be slightly raised. Weaving Weight, internationally known as GSM (Grams per Square Meter), is the most objective indicator of the quality, thickness, and durability of a throw.

While the composition (e.g., 100% Cotton) tells us what the throw is made of, the GSM tells us how "rich" it is.

Indicative Values & Categorization

Light: 150 - 250 GSM

Medium: 250 - 400 GSM

Heavy: 400 - 600 GSM

Very Heavy: > 600 GSM
