GRADIUS ORIGINS includes 18 versions of all 7 titles in the series, including the first appearance of Gradius III AM Show Version on home consoles.

Several useful new features have been added to the games, such as:

• Quick Save / Quick Load: Save and load game data at any point during gameplay.
• Game Rewind: Undo your progress at any moment while playing.
• Easy Survival: This mode makes the game easier by reducing the hitbox size of the ship.
• Invincible Mode: The ship becomes invincible against enemy attacks and only tracks the number of times it is hit.
• Training Mode: This mode allows you to customize settings such as respawn points, number of retries, and the state of power-ups.
• Online Leaderboards: Add your score to the rankings after completing a game.
• Sound Gallery: Listen to the original soundtrack of each title, as well as arrangements from previous CD album releases.
• Visual Gallery: View original game instruction manuals and development resources.
• Gradius Guide: Check your scores and browse an enemy character gallery from each of the original titles.

The new training mode allows you to adjust parameters to improve your skills.
