  • Type

    Flip-Up

The flip-up helmet is also known as "modular" or openable because the front part of the helmet can be lifted. It is relatively heavier, bulkier, and a safer helmet compared to the Jet helmet.

Its use is ideal for couriers who make frequent stops within the city and do not need to remove the entire helmet.

  • Material

    Thermoplastic

This is a plastic material mainly used in more affordable and entry-level helmets.

Thermoplastic shells, such as Polycarbonate or ABS, offer basic protection through deformation upon impact, with greater weight and lower production cost compared to composite materials.

  • Certification

Certification refers to the official inspection that confirms the helmet meets specific safety standards as defined by international organizations (e.g., ECE, DOT). It is an indication that the helmet has been tested and approved for its ability to protect in real collision conditions.

    ECE 22.06

New European-type safety specification certification "ECE 22.06", which ensures that the helmet is tested at 18 impact check points instead of 6 as was previously the case. It is now considered the most modern and comprehensive standard for helmet safety in Europe.

Weight (+/-50 gr): 1600

Most helmets weigh around 1500gr and some can reach up to 1800gr. Additionally, the material is also an important factor for the weight of the helmet, with carbon helmets being considered lighter.

A helmet weighing over 1450gr is not considered light and is not recommended for long rides.
