Description

Celtic Coarse Salt

Coarsely ground sea salt harvested on the coasts of Brittany, in northern France. The salt is collected by hand using traditional methods, without the use of additives. The result is a moist salt that contains valuable minerals and a high percentage of highly concentrated seawater.

The natural grey color of the salt is due to its contact with clay during the crystallization process. It is believed to contain about 84 trace elements, with particularly high levels of magnesium and iodine. Compared to other types of salt, Celtic salt is less salty, softer on the palate, and richer in flavor.

Use: In cooking and pastry making.
