    The fabric that surrounds the mechanism is very thin and I don't know how long it will last. The elastic band that is used to attach it to the back of the chair is very small (narrow), we had to cut it and add more elastic so it could fit. If you don't use the elastic to attach it to the back, be aware that it bends and folds (most likely due to the weight of the mechanism). The mechanism works ok. It doesn't have a memory function, so every time you turn it on, you have to select the program you want again. The sound it makes is similar to the old one we had, it's not annoying (after all, no machine with such functions is silent).
