Oerlikon Fincord-m electrodes are intended for welding unalloyed structural steels, boiler plates, pipe steels, shipbuilding steels and cast steels. They are also suitable for thin sheets in accordance with DIN 1623 Part 1.

They can be used with alternating or direct current, with the electrode holder connected to the negative pole.
