• Example: (D)246 ÷ 30.5 = 8.06 ≈ 8FT

If there is no old rod: For outboard engines, calculate A + B + 90cm, and the resulting number is the length of the rod in cm. Then divide it by 30.5, and the resulting number is the length of the rod in feet. Finally, round the number.

• Example: (A)50 + (B)220 + 90 = 360 ÷ 30.5 = 11.80 ≈ 12FT
