Black Amsterdam Gesso Primer Talens

Purpose: Creates a preparatory layer on various absorbent surfaces. Gesso for painting, icon painting and crafts.

Composition: Acrylic resin, synthetic titanium dioxide.

  • Provides a layer with good adhesion for oil paints, acrylics, gouache, etc.
  • Suitable for absorbent surfaces that have been cleaned of dust and oils.
  • Suitable for surfaces such as canvas, wood, plywood, cardboard, MDF and paper.
  • Suitable for preparing surfaces such as cement, stucco and brick.
  • Highly absorbent surfaces should be prepared in combination with Amsterdam Acrylic Binder.
  • Can be tinted with acrylic paint.
  • Dilutable with water.
  • Dries within a few hours. After 24 hours, it can be painted over with oil paints.
  • Apply at temperatures above 10 °C and do not allow to freeze.
  • Clean tools with water.
