The Akyga® AK-CA-83 adapter is a connector dedicated to hard drives (HDD) and SSDs. It features SATA 22-pin connections on both sides of the adapter. This allows for a SATA cable to be connected on one side and an SSD or HDD on the other. The adapter has two mounting holes that enable it to be installed on a rack, making it easier to connect and disconnect the drive from the computer and reducing the risk of the cable becoming disconnected from the internal side of the rack or case. Additionally, there are plastic clips on the sides of the adapter, which protect the hard drive from accidental disconnection.
