The Monnëka safety vest features a strap with a safety closure designed to be placed between the legs, so that the vest does not come over the head during water dives or swimming. The strap is padded with durable synthetic material (neoprene) to prevent chafing between the legs, with additional padding in the armpit area to avoid irritation to the child's sensitive skin.

It consists of 8 pieces, each made from water-friendly materials. The pieces can be removed and reattached to the vest, giving the child the opportunity to learn to swim independently and safely.
