The Classic 4030 and 6030 GARDENA irrigation controllers operate on electricity and are supplied with a transformer that is installed either internally in the box or externally, depending on the model. The transformer has an input of 220V - AC, 60 Hz and an output of 24V - AC, 1.0A, allowing up to two electric valves to be connected per station.
The irrigation control system is designed for the automatic control of larger irrigation systems, such as the GARDENA Sprinklersystem. In particular, when water requirements differ for individual plant areas, the system manages individual watering intervals per channel, facilitating independent irrigation.
This system allows the connection of four or six 24 V irrigation valves and offers the flexibility to program up to three schedules per valve. The user can independently select the watering days and cycles, with a duration from 1 minute up to 3 hours and 59 minutes. There is also a setting for watering percentage from 0% to 200% and the option for immediate irrigation activation.
The large and clear display makes programming easy, with user instructions guiding each step. The system can be used indoors and in areas protected from rain, connected to 230 V power. Backup protection from power interruptions is provided via a 9 V alkaline battery (battery not included), and the option to connect a GARDENA rain sensor or soil moisture sensor offers water savings.
